1. Participated in the organisation of Summer Science Institute in Biology for College teachers (University Grants Commission) at Department of Botany, University of Kashmir between June1 and July 14, 1971.
2. Attended a course on ‘Introduction to Computers’ at University of Delhi.
3. Attended a course on ‘Fortran IV’ at University of Delhi.
4. Attended Orientation course on ‘Energy and Environment’ organised on CPDHE, University of Delhi (OR-29) in 1995-96 and presented a paper on ‘Biological Environmental Monitoring ’.
5. Participated in a workshop organised by Botany Department for restructuring of undergraduate courses in Botany for Honours and General courses. Worked as convenor of subcommittee for paper VI and member of subcommittee for paper VIII of honours courses.
6. Participated in a workshop organised by K. M. College for restructuring of Honours courses. Worked as convenor of subcommittee for Taxonomy course and member of subcommittee for paper on Ecology. Draft syllabus is under consideration of Committee of courses in Botany.
7. Contributed as resource person for the Refresher course courses: OR-36, organised by CPDHE at S.G.T.B. Khalsa College (March 19 to 23, 2001- Course from March 19 to April 16, 2001), and OR-37 at CPDHE (March 26 to 30, 2001-course from March 26 to April 23, 2001) in March-April, 2001. Gave the participating teachers training in Computers in general and Microsoft Word in particular.
8. Attended three day workshop on Networking (HTML, Java Script and Front Page) from May 21, 22 and 23, 2002 organised by Centre for Science Education and Communication, University of Delhi.
9. Participated in the organization of workshop for restructuring Undergraduate courses in Botany in Science Centre from April 1 to April 10, 2003.

14. Contributed as resource person for the Refresher Course in Botany on Plant Diversity organised by CPDHE at Department of Environmental Science, University of Delhi in January, 2005. Gave interactive lecture on Computer Taxonomy. CPDHE purchased and presented to all participating teachers a copy of my recent book ‘Plant Systematics- theory and Practice’ published in 2004.
