Dr. Anil Kumar Nain is a Professor of Physical
Chemistry in the Department of Chemistry, Dyal
Singh College (University of Delhi). I did my Bachelors of Science in 1990
and Masters in Chemistry from Jamia Millia Islamia
(Central University), New Delhi, India in 1992. I completed my Ph.D. degree
from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi in 1996. I
worked as Senior Research Fellow (CSIR) from 1996 to 1998 and Post-Doc Fellow
as Research Associate (CSIR) from 1998 to 2003 in the in the Department of
Chemistry, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, India.
I was awarded the prestigious degree of Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) for my
independent research works in the area of Solution Chemistry by University of
Allahabad (Central University), Allahabad, UP, India in 2007. I worked as Project Officer under the Technical Education
Quality Improvement Project (TEQIP) in the National Board of Accreditation
(NBA), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi for one
year during 2003-2004. I worked as Principal Investigator of SERC Fast Track
Young Scientist Scheme (a highly prestigious fellowship) of the Department of
Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India, New Delhi from 2004 to 2007. I joined as Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry, Dyal Singh College (University of Delhi), New Delhi in
November 2004 and at present works as a Professor of Physical Chemistry. I am
actively engaged in research and at present working on a major research
project on the physicochemical studies of homoeopathic drug formulations by
using volumetric, acoustic, viscometric, optical
and conductometric measurements, funded by CCRH, New Delhi. My broad research area of interest: Molecular
Interactions in Solution (Physical Chemistry) Biophysical Chemistry Physicochemical studies of non-electrolyte
multicomponent systems Physicochemical studies of homoeopathic medicine
formulations Seven Students had been awarded Ph.D. and one research student
is currently working under his supervision. I have successfully completed 03
major research projects from various funding agencies. So far, I have
published 173 research articles in indexed refereed journals. |
