Dr. Mukesh Kumar

PhD with ten years of teaching experience in Hindi language, literature and culture in University of Delhi and a known Hindi creative writer.

 Current Position

·        Teaching as Assistant Professor in the Deptt. Of Hindi in Satyawati College, University of Delhi.

·        Appointed as Lecturer (Permanent) in July 1999. And promoted as Senior Lecturer in 2003 in Satyawati College, University of Delhi.

 Previous Work Experience

·        Worked as Project Coordinator in Peoples Education Program and Organizational Documentation in ANKUR (A non-governmental social organization working for alternatives in education in Delhi) from 1995 to 1999.

·        Modern Hindi Poetry and short story, Hindi Dalit literature

·        Hindi Novel and Short Story, Modern Hindi Poetry, Media Lekhan (Creative Writing for Media), Literature, Language and Culture, History of Hindi Literature.

·        Doctorate of Philosophy in 1999 from Deptt of Hindi, University of Delhi.

·        Master of Philosophy in 1996 with first division from Deptt of Hindi, University of Delhi.

·        Master in Arts (Hindi Literature) in 1994 with best second division from P.G.D.A.V. College, University of Delhi.

·        Bachelors in Commerce in 1992 with second division from P.G.D.A.V. College, University of Delhi.

·        Passed National Eligibility Test for lectureship in 1995.

·        Studied two special papers in Journalism in Hindi in Masters.

·        Short term course in basics of computer, Computer Centre, University of Delhi.

·        Three Refresher Courses in Hindi Literature from Centre for Professional Development in Higher Education, University of Delhi.

·        One Orientation Course from Centre for Professional Development in Higher Education, University of Delhi.
