Following projects require use of Statistical Mechanics, Stochastic Processes and Mathematical Methods.

*   Complex Fluids: Polymer melts and concentrated solutions.

 

*   Molecular models for polymer dynamics for the complex polymer topologies and polydispersed polymeric systems.

 

*   Polymer blends: Modeling of the physical properties like glass transition temperature and their viscoelastic behavior.

 

*   Dynamics of dendritic and random networks polymers in solution and under random flows.

 

*   Stretch dynamics of branched polyampholytes.

 

*   Artificial Muscles based on nematic polymers and gels.

 

*   Polymers adsorbed and grafted at interface.

 

These classes of problems are also of interest in materials and their modeling involves concepts of Statistical Mechanics, Mathematical and Computational Methods.
