From the Airport
IG International Airport
We advise you to take a pre-paid taxi from the airport. The taxi service inside costs more than the one just outside the waiting lounge. DU is about 25 kms from the IGI airport. The fare is about Rs. 300 ($7.80). The number of the taxi will be written on the slip of paper you receive, please take the taxi whose number is provided on the slip. Pay the full amount only at the counter and hand over the passenger copy of the receipt to the driver at the end of your journey.
From NDR Station
The distance to DU from the New Delhi Railway Station is about 14 km (shortest distance). A pre-paid auto service is available from outside the station. There is no pre-paid taxi service available from the station. Be prepared to haggle if you wish to take a taxi.
