Modelling of Attacks on 802.11 4-Way Handshake Protocol

 

Introduction:

A postgraduate with specialisation in Computer and Network Security, I have more than 15 years of experience as researcher and academic working on various topics of Computer Science. Apart from teaching in University of Delhi and its constituent colleges, I have also been associated with reputed institutes and universities like Univ. of Birmingham UK, Birmingham City University UK, JNU, IBS, IGNOU in various capacities such as Tutor, Visiting Faculty, Course Content Writer and Examiner etc. Apart from academic experience, I have also handled various administrative responsibilities such as Convenor of Development Committee, Computer, Software and Website Committee, Placement cell etc. to name a few.

Research interests: Security Protocol Verification, Intrusion Detection, Stealth Attacks on Security Protocols, e-Governance, Data Security.

·     Ph.D. in Computer Science (Cybersecurity) from School of Computer Science, University of Birmingham since September 2016.

Thesis title: “Modelling and verification of security requirements and Stealthiness in security Protocols”. [Thesis PDF]

 

·       Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Security from School of Computer Science, University of Birmingham, UK in 2013 (Sponsored by University of Delhi, India) with distinction.

 

·       As part of the project, worked on developing a tool CHIMP-IQ (Checkable Imperative Language for Integrity Quantification), an OCaml based tool to quantify integrity. ·       Post Graduate Teaching Associate (PGTA) with School of Computer Science, University of Birmingham during Ph.D. Have undertaken various roles (small group teaching, exercise preparation and marking, module project dissertation guidance and evaluation) for UG and PG modules, such as Software Workshop (Java), Data Structure and Algorithms, Object Oriented Programming, Databases, etc. to name a few.

·       Worked as Programmer with Department of Computer Science, Keshav Mahavidyalaya (University of Delhi) from August 2005 to January 2009.
