Amit Sehgal was born in Delhi, India on December 01, 1979. He received the B.Sc. (Honors) and M.Sc. degrees in electronics from University of Delhi, Delhi, India in 2000 and 2002 respectively. He received his Ph. D. degree at the University of Delhi, Delhi, India in 2007. He joined Hans
Raj College, University of Delhi, Delhi, India in year 2005 as lecturer and is currently an Assistant Professor. He joined Semiconductor Device Research Laboratory Department of Electronic Science, University of Delhi South Campus in year 2002. He joined Institute of Lifelong Learning, University of Delhi as Fellow (Physics) in April 2010 on deputation basis for one year to work on the University of Delhi web education portal and worked on the content development of under graduate courses.
He is listed in premier edition of Marquis Who's Who in Asia and 9th edition of Marquis Who's Who in Science and Engineering. He is also listed in the 25th silver jubilee edition of Marquis Who's Who in World. His research interests are in the modeling, simulation and characterization of silicon based devices especially poly-crystalline TFT, gate engineered structures and MOSFETs with quantization effects. He has 27 publications in international and national journals and conferences.
