About Me
Neelima Gupta is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science, University of Delhi since December 2006. She has published several papers in high impact factor journals and international conferences of high repute. Seven research scholars have graduated and four are pursuing their doctorate degree under her supervision. She has supervised more than 30 Master’s projects. Her heart lies with Theoretical Computer Science. She has also wandered in the areas of bioinformatics and ad hoc networks in the past.
She did her Doctorate in Computer Science in 1998, M.Tech. in Computer Applications in 1989 and M.Sc. in Mathematics in 1987 all from IIT Delhi. She did her Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Honors from Hindu College, University of Delhi in 1985. Prior to teaching she had briefly worked with HCL Technologies in 1989.
