PROFILE
Rajeev Gupta obtained his PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology-Kanpur in 2000 under the supervision of Professor R. N. Mukherjee. He did his Postdoctoral work with Professor A. S. Borovik at the University of Kansas during 2000 - 2003. He joined the Department of Chemistry, University of Delhi in 2003 and presently working as Professor. He takes immense interest in teaching and mentoring students and has taught a large number of inorganic chemistry subjects.
Dr. Gupta's research interests are in the area of bioinorganic, supramolecular, and coordination chemistry with focus on architectural aspects and catalysis. He has published diversified research papers in the leading international journals of scientific repute and his work has been widely cited. Dr. Gupta has also delivered several invited talks in various national and international journals. He has supervised eight PhD students and has received funding from several national funding agencies such as DST, SERB, CSIR, DST-PURSE, and UGC.
