 The Workshop:

The University of Delhi and The Luminescence Society of India (Delhi Chapter) will be organizing the Workshop and the Conference during November 24 - 26, 2009. The workshop will further strengthen bonding between the Indian and Russian Academicians and Scientists involved in collaborative works.

Nanoscience and Nanotechnology has emerged as the new area of research with applications in almost every field of science and technology. Experts from overseas, especially from Russia, other countries and India will deliberate on the recent advancement in the field. Special emphasis will be given on Luminescent Nanostructured materials popularly known as Nanophosphors and their upcoming applications.

Thirty invited talks, over two hundreds contributory papers and an exhibition of equipments and other related materials has been planned. Latest developments in the field of nanomaterials and especially, in the field of luminescence, sensors, detectors will be reviewed. The conference is expected to provide a platform to interact with the overseas delegates and particularly from Russia for future collaborations. Participation from other developed countries is also expected.

The organizing committee hereby invites academicians, scientists, researchers and technologists engaged in basic as well as applied research in Universities, Research Institutions and Industries to participate.
