How to access Application servers.

Many applications (software) such as; Adobe Acrobat Suite, AutoCAD 2004, Borland Delphi, Corel Graphics Suite 11, Intel C++ / Fortran Compilers 8.0, Mathematica 5, Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003, Oracle 9i, etc. are installed on various servers of multiple type of Hardware and Platforms (Operating Systems such as; MS Windows, Linux, Solaris, AIX). You may remotely login to these servers from your college PCs or terminals to use the available applications. DUCC provides login accounts to the teachers and students on request. Following are the steps to use this service:


  1. Send request for login account to the Director, DUCC by your official (institutional) e-mail id only. If you don’t have official e-mail id, send a request for that now. Click to know how to get official e-mail id.
  2. Download and install PuTTY application in your PC and login to the lts.du.ac.in server. You may install and use WinSCP software to transfer your file in to Linux server. Click to know how to login to the Linux serve
  3. Use  Remote Desktop Connection (client based terminal service) to logon into the Microsoft Windows based terminal server (ts.du.ac.in). Click to know how to login to the Windows server.
