How to configure PC’s IP address 1. Logon your PC with administrative privileges. 2. Click Start and then click Control Panel. 3. Double click Network Connections. 4. Double click Local Area Connection icon and then click
Properties.

Double click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP).
6.
Click “Use the following IP address”. Put the required information. · IP address: (type an unique IP address from your PC IP Range). · Subnet mask: (255.255.0.0 common for all PCs). · Default gateway: (enter your first switch’s IP address).
7. Click “Use the following DNS server address”. Type proper
DNS IP addresses at appropriate boxes. If your College is connected with North
Campus network (see college configuration sheet) use 10.2.1.13 and 10.2.1.16. And if your
College is connected with South Campus network (see college configuration sheet) use 10.102.1.13 and 10.102.1.88. 8. Click OK. . |
