How to login to the Linux or UNIX servers.
- Send
a request for the login account to the Director, DUCC through your official (institutional) e-mail
id only. DUCC will send you the login information (Username and Password)
through e-mail.
- Open
PuTTY application on your PC (or Terminal).
- Type
Server Name (lts.du.ac.in) and click Open. Login
window will popup on your screen. Type your User Name and press Enter
(or Return) key.
- Then type your Password and press Enter (Return)
key.
- You may login to the server with WinSCP application to transfer your
files
- from your PC (or Terminal) to the server.
- Run
Win SCP application type Host name (e.g. lts.du.ac.in), User name
and Password in appropriate boxes and click Login.
- Popup
window will appear on your screen. Use “Drag and Drop” method to
transfer the files between the directories.
